So, today is Doug's birthday and for those of you who know him -- it looks like the big elements have been covered. He's here with his truck loaded with dirt. The sun is shining. It's going to be a great day. This is all in preparation for the raised vegetables gardens we're (well, we is a little generous) building in the back. We took a little trip after yoga today to a nursery that I had heard about -- Merrifield's. Wow -- it is a super nursery....remember the first Wegman's we saw and how we acted like grocery tourists? That's how we were, but we came home with a load of great soil (and more fun is in store, because even with his kick-ass truck, we couldn't bring home everything we bought!)

And dad somehow found time to mock me as well - it truely was a great day for him! ;) hehe.
