Today Doug (mainly) worked on the vegetable garden project.  I planted this little rosemary bush on the patio, but he was busy clearing brush and digging.  I hauled a couple of wheel barrow loads of dirt from the patio to the back yard and exhausted myself!  I think I better get good at that process, and it is definitely good exercise.
Here is the first part of the vegetable garden project, and Jerry took the opportunity to play ball with himself.

These gloves are a birthday present from me -- Doug's hands have been pretty bashed up lately from all the gardening.
We know that Emily is now an experienced vegetable gardener, and she's coming back just in time to jump right in.
