I feel pretty much into 100% wedding mode now -- less than a month to go.  I had a big nightmare last night that the florist, photographer, and cake never showed up.  But I think the lesson was that it didn't matter -- Kate and I ran around looking for the cake (her dress flowing behind her), then we went to the bakery to yell at them a little...but all was well in the end...everyone else was just dancing, so I guess the DJ made it.

Doug has been in shelving mode -- just as happy as he can be taking his truck to Home Depot and coming home with wood.  I think he's into the garage now with his projects.

Brian and Rob made the wedding brew yesterday, and Amy, Kate and I made wedding programs.  They turned out well, but we have more to do.  Then everyone stayed for dinner, and mom came over too.  I just love having young people over for dinner...I like a big table with lots of people.  Part of me doesn't want to re-do the kitchen in this house, because I think we should learn to live with less, but part of me wants more space to just cook and cook -- I guess the economy will answer that one for us.
