I know how annoying it is, Emily, when people don't update their blogs!!! But, being the busy little homemaker I am, I mean, between the sessions with my trainers, pedicures (sticking with blue on the toes), embroidery classes -- what's a trophy wife to do? I'm squeezing this in, then am off to pick up Mom and head to the library with her.
So, this week has been busy. I became a member of The League of Women Voters and went on Tuesday evening to sign up new voters at a table in the library. We had a good turn out -- most were young people who had moved here for their first jobs -- I thought they were all so cute. I also signed up to work the polls on election day -- they're expecting a huge turnout and need more poll workers. I'll get trained on that sometime soon. Really -- trophy wives just do so many good deeds!
Then I did my training for the Yoga work I'll do and went to a beautiful quilting store in Great Falls for a class on Crazy Quilts -- basically very patchy quilts with tons of embroidery on top. They're gaudy and over the top -- really fun, but I doubt that I'll get to one for quite a while. I found a pic on Google that I've attached -- one thing you can do along with the embroidery is to sew on little charms, mirrors....all kinds of stuff.

You went from housewife all the way to trophy wife I see. Sounds exhausting - kinda like trying to teach a bunch of whiny first graders how to distinguish a/e/i vowel sounds ;)
And speaking of signing up voters... if Suzanne gets back to you about my mail, maybe I can sign up to be a voter too! But time is seriously ticking to get my absentee ballot request in!!!
And PS, no package yet, but I eagerly check the mail everyday
Well, i just read some of the entries in the archive. I hadn't noticed this before. Is this your new house? Did I miss out on info rushing through?Laurie
p.s. What does HTML mean and is there a dictionary of the tabs, and what about the classes you taught and what do the initials for your old job stand for. And why do you go to Florida for Christmas and where do you stay and, and, and ..............
