Last week we went to DC9 to see Austin Lucas. Doug and I went with Kate, Rob, and Amy. There were different people performing, but when Lucas was by himself he asked the audience if we'd mind if he just unplugged and got on the floor with us. So, we made a little circle around him and he sang. Very cool.
Tonight we'll go to our second concert of the week -- we'll see Caravan of Thieves at the Iota Club in Clarendon. They've opened for Dan Hicks, and feature a husband/wife plus other musicians. They're described as Americana/Gypsy/Rock -- so sounds like there will something for everyone. I tell you, we've turned into real party animals this week:-)
On Friday we head off to Ft. Myers to visit with Minor and Melissa.
