More headache

Well, this morning I woke up to the worst headache ever. I even threw up, but there was nothing there so it was just warm bile...and I felt really sorry for myself. So, I called my new doctor and wow, they answered, and wow, told me to come in at 9. Fortunately, I can walk...so I put on dark glasses and walked over. They gave me a pill and a blankie, turned off the light, and told me to rest. Well, that didn't do anything. She said the pill is usually most effective at the beginning of the headache. So, she wrote a prescription for Butal -- I stumbled over to CVS and they filled it right away. I came home and took one....and felt soooo much better in less than 1/2 hour. Health care can be such a pain -- but today worked out so well, which is good, because I needed it to! I feel human again. I'm so grateful that I have insurance and that I didn't have a job and kids and a full day -- I could just take care of myself. I would love to feel that it's gone...but time will tell. The Butol isn't giving me any side effects -- she said I might be drowsy, but I don't feel that. I just feel good:-)
