My oatmeal experience.

Well I know how much Rose likes her oatmeal!  And since I've been on SB, about all you can eat for breakfast is eggs.  Now, I like eggs and don't have high cholesterol...but, after two weeks, I've had it with the eggs.  Now I'm on a phase where I can add in the oats, and one suggestion on the message boards was to make your oatmeal and put a whole beaten raw egg in there -- and stir until it's cooked.  The benefit is that eggs have the nice protein, a little fat...so it helps you stay full longer.

Well, I did that.  I was kind of skeptical along the way, however.  I ended up with a very gooey lump of oatmeal.  So I put some plain yogurt on top, some toasted walnuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon.  Even with that, I think you could have paved the sidewalk with this stuff.  But --  I did stay good all morning.  And then I went to clean the pot -- it didn't even burn and I had to use steel wool to get all the goo off.  I'm wondering where all that is now in my digestive system...I think it could be bad.

Anyway, this is my oatmeal post....not as pretty or informative as Rose's blog:-)
