Oh sorry to all my (anonymous) blog readers out there!  It's just wedding/Christmas/travel to Florida/and don't forget home baked cookies fever around here.  Things are hectic but fun -- the house is filled with decorations in every room...not looking like they're meant for the space, but just crammed on every surface.  Janice and Mom were here over the weekend and made 6 big beautiful arrangements of dried white birch branches with accents and twinkle lights -- they are going to be really dramatic.  Kate and Rose did a final run-through with the caterer, finished programs...and the seating chart is always a challenge.  Doug and Chip looked at a way to get lights up on a high ceiling and Rob and Bill -- went home to get the Wii to attach to our TV:-)  Not to omit Will -- he spray painted and ran errands all day.

The Arts Center just let us know that we can't have any candles other than votives or pillars that are lower than their glass holders...well, we can work with that, but had candles of all sizes planned...for the variety.  Just a little thing...they're all little...yes.  I got up at 6:30 today to make my 3d double batch of toffee...
